Exploration Summary
Historical sampling and trenching in 1979 identified cobalt values as high as 0.49% Co at the Sunlite trench. A gold-bearing quartz vein was later observed at the Sunlite Trench with one grab sample assaying at 18.0 g/t Au and 0.16% Cu. Limited surface sampling and ground geophysics were later carried out by other precious metals explorers, without any drilling having been conducted.
In 2018, ALX completed a sampling and prospecting program. Numerous trenches, including the Sunlite Trench, were located and channel sampled. In addition, a reconnaissance transient audio magnetotelluric (“AMT”) geophysical survey utilizing PULSAR receivers was completed and integrated into the property data base.
